    PARENT AGREEMENT FORM

I am aware that Forest School is totally nature-based. That children will be outside in all weather conditions, except severe weather conditions where we may be forced to cancel. I am committed to checking the forecast before each session and providing my child appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.

I understand that Forest School is NOT appropriate for children who do not follow instructions.

I understand that in order for me to enroll my child in Forest School, he or she must be able to follow directions carefully and show respect towards teachers and other children.

Children must be toilet-proficient in order to attend. They must know when they have to go to the bathroom and be able to effectively communicate that.

I understand that the following abilities are essential for a child to be successful in outside nature programs.
    • Ages 6 and up requires children to be able to walk/hike for 1 hour without breaks
    • Is comfortable and capable of being away from parents and guardians
    • Able to manage their own clothing, 3-5 year old's may need some assistance which is fine
    • Able to carry small backpack w/ lunch, water and gear on gear lists
    • Willing to wear appropriate clothing for various weather conditions (e.g. hats, gloves, boots)
    • Not napping during the time of your chosen program
    • Able to communicate needs or issues to an adult (cold, discomfort, etc.)

I understand if all spaces at Forest School are full, my child will be placed on a waiting list.
