Each set contains beautiful Vancouver Island wood (alder, Douglas fir, maple, hemlock..). Included is 5 maple platforms and 30 uniquely shaped natural pieces keeping every set interesting and ideal for indoors or outdoors use. They are handmade, cut into varying shapes and sizes, sanded and oiled with natural non-toxic oil.
- Suitable for children 3yrs + (contains small parts and loose bark)
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources such as radiators (extremes of temperature may cause cracking)
- SUSTAINABLE. all wood is from the forest floor and naturally fallen, mainly due to wind storms. The logs were picked closest to the pathways on my family property to minimize impact on the forest floor.
- Natural wood is a fascinating material. Wood changes, its bark comes away (this may happen during transit), there will be knots and small cracks which will expand and contract as the wood changes over time. This all is amazing and it stimulates questions and helps connect us to the natural world and does not detract from the quality of this item.
